​Blu's owner passed away suddenly, and he had no one else to care for him, which is why he ended up at the shelter and due to space, he found himself on the euth list. Blu's owner was a Military Veteran, and we feel we owe it to his owner to find Blu a loving home to honor his service to Blu and our country. Blu is a gorgeous blue pittie with the cutest ears! It’s so easy for blue/gray pitties to get lost in the mix, but we can’t let that happen to this guy. He is very friendly, bouncy, energetic! He would likely benefit from some basic training.
Blu got a little over stimulated around the other dogs. So he would likely do best as an only dog at this time. Please remember that dogs should NOT be integrated in the home immediately and should be integrated slowly over the course of weeks or months, not days or hours. Buster
Buster's foster mom could NOT say enough about how great he is. He gets along with everyone he meets and is dog friendly. Buster likes to romp and play with anyone willing. He is good on the leash and would make an great ESA for an adult. Although Buster is dog friendly, he has been through ALOT and we are looking for a 1 dog home or a home with only 1 other well mannered dog about his size so Buster can be the focus of the attention his previous owner neglected. Jaxx
Jaxx is an amazing 2yr old female Border Collie Lab Mix. She is SO sweet and loving and calm. She is shy at first, but warms up and will be a Velcro dog once she trusts you. Enjoys the outdoors, but her favorite spot is inside next to her person. She loves to cuddle and watch a movie and loves a walk every now and then. She is medium energy so will adjust to most living situations. Should be placed with kids over 10yrs old.
She is UTD with vaccines and rabies, she is microchipped, crate trained, housebroke and spayed.

Ari
Ari is not your typical Malinois. She is CALM , playful, sweet & affectionate. She walks well on a leash, she is dog friendly and great with kids, but cats are unknown. Ari likes taking an occasional walk, but no demand for a daily thing. She is not a chronic chewer, but does like her toys and can entertain herself. She will alert bark, but shuts it down when asked. If youre wanting a semi-active dog who can also chill and be a nice house dog...this is your girl.

Ozzi
​Ozzi has not had an easy start and found himself in a high kill shelter, as a black dog that is a Pitti & having an injury the cards were stacked against him to make it out alive. That is why our rescue stepped in and was able to pull him just in time. Ozzi is now healed and ready for his new forever home. He loves to play, seems to be dog friendly with female dogs and great with kids. This young man is just a bundle of love, you can't but love him back. He is already neutered, vaccines & rabies are up to date, he is microchipped and crate trained. We are currently taking applications. Contact us with any questions 208-509-7245

Scrappy
Scrappy is a sweet polite 2yr old German Shepherd Mix. He spent 36 days in the shelter and with that much time it landed him on the euth list. He was then adopted by a man that wanted to do good by saving him from euthanasia, but had no intentions of keeping him, totally adopted on emotion. Scrappy was found on a "Free Dog" FB Page, which often puts dogs at risk of becoming a Bait Dog. Our rescue stepped up to save him and ensure he is given a better more stable home. Despite ALL of this Scrappy is very resilient and it has not affected him. He is still the fun loving dog the shelter volunteers said he was. Scrappy is very slightly timid with new situations, but adjusts easily. He would prefer to be the only dog, but will also do well with a neutral female dog. He does great with kids over 10yrs old, walks well on a leash, is crate trained, housebroke, will alert bark with a knock at the door but relatively a very quiet dog. Alika
​Alika is an absolutely gorgeous dog. She is the perfect combo of Class and Sass all wrapped in one. Affectionate & connected with her handler. She engages well and is focused on what is being asked. Alika walks with confidence and takes things in stride. She is a medium drive dog and very much has the potential to be a great family pet. She LOVES to play and can get excited some additional training would help her transition to a new home. We are looking for a 1 dog home with no cats. Stormy
Stormy's adopter is having severe health issues and is unable to keep her, so she was returned to our rescue. She needs immediate foster or adopter. She is so much fun and full of nothing but wiggles and love. She walks well on the leash.
She takes treats gently and is easy to leash up. Stormy is always eager to go for a walk or play in the yard. She is dog friendly with well-mannered male dogs, She does well with kids, but cats are unknown. Stormy is ready to go, she is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained & housebroke.
This young lady would be a great addition to any home.

Zarr
Zar is a sweet Dutch Shephard with so much love and personality.
Zar is shy at first but once he knows you his confidence comes out to say hello. Who wouldn’t be scared at first with all the changes at such a young age. He loves to play chase and has great handler focus
He is very intelligent and easy to handle he just needs a bit of confidence boosting. He walks pretty well on the leash, he is athletic but not neurotic. An occasional walk would do fine =. He is most happy just engaging with his person.
